Years ago I tried about 20 different Chinese restaurants all over town and I never found one that I really liked. So I basically quit going to Chinese restaurants unless I was traveling and had a trusted local recommend one to me.

There is a new shopping center about 10 minutes from my house that has a new Chinese restaurant in it. I decided to give them a try and I was happily surprised to find a large buffet and everything was delicious. Lunch was under $10, including drink and tip. I will be back!

There will be a special charity event this summer that will require the women to dress up. I found this really cute dress online. I hope it doesn’t make me look like an old lady desperately trying to look young. I think it is cute and that’s what I want to wear. But if enough people tell me not to do it, I will find something else.

Have you tried a green tea? I was in the convenience store looking for something to quench my thirst and saw several brands of green tea in the refrigerated cases. I decided to try a Sobe green tea. It was great! I’ll buy Sobe green tea again, for sure.

I’ve needed a haircut for a couple of weeks but I haven’t been able to make up my mind what style I want to get. I’ve been letting my hair grow out but I really don’t like it long. So I’ve decided to go short. The big questions is: how short?

Yes just like a lot of other people, I’ll be traveling for the holidays.  My old luggage has just about had it so I think I’ll check out some new Samsonite luggage. I have had Samsonite luggage since I was a little girl going back and forth to my grandparents each summer.  In fact, I still have the make-up bag piece to the original luggage I had.  Samsonite is the best if you ask me.
