I have some friends that have a Halloween party for all of us ‘older people’ and those of us that just don’t have kids.  I’m not one of the ‘older people’, I’m just one without kids.  If you believe that, I’ve got some ocean front property in Arizona across from John McCain’s house I’ll sell you cheap. 

Anyway, when you don’t have a kid to take around Trick-or-Treating, it takes a lot of the fun out of Halloween.  We always have a blast at thier party too.  The costumes are great.  We have found a site online where you can get costumes that we all go to.  Now that we have been doing this for awhile, sometimes we just trade costumes with others and either alter them to fit what we want them to be or just use them as they are.

You can take a nurses costume and make it a cutie nurse or make it a nurse from hell without messing the costume up for someone else the next year.  It’s fun to see what everyone comes up with.  I guess what it’s really all about is a group of middle age-rs reliving their youth and that’s okay with me because I’m still a kid at heart.  I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween and a safe Halloween above all.
