My name is Melinda Slade. I’ve had some tough breaks but they only make me stronger. My parents didn’t want me so they left me with a babysitter when I was a baby. Luckily these people adopted me and my life wasn’t too bad other than I always knew something wasn’t right. But I am grateful to my adopted parents for taking me and I love them both.
So now I’m in my 40′s, and as determined to make it on my own as I was the day I left home, when I was 18. Never married – no man’s going to tell me what I can or can’t do. It’s just me and my computer and a lot of good friends that I’ve met over the years, and I like it that way.
