We’ve had a mild but really wet winter. I’m glad for the rain and even gladder that it was not snow and ice. But we do have a lot of mud in the yard. It is hard to walk the dogs without getting covered in mud up to my ankles.
I have some boots but they are not mud boots – they are to keep your feet warm when trudging through snow. I need something that is waterproof for the puddles and designed to hep keep me from slipping on the hills.
I hope that we don’t have much more winter left to even worry about the mud, but I would not be surprised if we have cool and wet weather all the way through March this year.
