The liquorice candy called Good and Plenty has been around since before I was born. My parents didn’t seem to like this particular candy and never bought it for the household. I first tried it at a friend’s house when she had a slumber party.
My girlfriend for many years in grade school was from Denmark and they love liquorice over there. One time she brought me a big bag of liquorice back from Denmark as a gift for me when they came back from a summer vacation back home. It was much stronger than anything I’ve ever tasted here in America.
Today I saw that K-Mart had a sale on big boxes of “movie theater” candy, which included Good and Plenty, for only a dollar a box. I bought two of them!
